I’ve been waiting for days for someone to notice that all of the “url” links in our community page read as “uri.” So I guess the new joke is: How many geeks community blogging does it take to fix a wordpress typo?
UPDATE: And upon googling, I have now learned that URI and URL are one in the same. But I stand by the belief that URI sounds like something painful.

In other news, I really should do a wrap up entry on blogphiladelphia, but I didn’t have much opportuntity to attend sessions, leaving me at a loss for a wrap up. Anyone have any suggestions?

18|Jul|2007 1only painful if you have a URI infection. those are the worst.
infected URI: http://www.sfgate.com/cgibin/srch_archive/dropdn_srch.cgi?template=templates2Ftypes2Ffood2Ffd_ddstemplate.shtml&item=templates%2Ftypes%2Ffood%2Ffd_ddsitem.txt&subject=RESTAURANTS%2BAND%2BREVIEW&keyword=shrimp&datesearch=366&year=
healthy URI:

glad to see we got clean URIs on PhillyGeeks. Don’t know why wordpress doesnt do that by default.

18|Jul|2007 2In the tradition of unconferences, and this was one of the best I’ve attended, the really important stuff , the networking, happened between and outside sessions. You and Alex most deserve congratulations for setting up an environment that made people feel open and comfortable and that didn’t get in the way.

We are all dying to know.

19|Jul|2007 5this is a geek blog so i think we need a geek perspective…
URI and URL are not exactly the same and there appear to be far too many people out there with enough time to debate their differences!
For instance… http://www.bernzilla.com/item.php?id=100
